Our mission is to produce basketball players to play at the highest competitive level and to cultivate strong students and well-rounded citizens! Tommy Johnson is the founded the program in 2020 and it has grown into one of the most elite clubs in Lincoln, NE. Tommy Johnson is a firm believer that HiiiPoWeR is more than just a basketball youth program; HiiiPoWeR is a transformational program.
We provide one of the most affordable basketball club experiences for 3rd-8th grade boys and girls. We accept players of all skill levels as we have a development program called D-League. We teamed up with Meechie Johnson and City of Guards (COG) Basketball Training to ensure kids are growing their basketball skills.
We function through our core values of honesty, integrity, compassion, growth, or family. We want everyone in HiiiPoWeR to not just talk core values but to put our core values in action! We allow everyone to help with service projects to give back to the community. We take pride in the diversity of our program and we hold each other accountable and show compassion. We want everyone to have a great experience and feel growth in their experience here at HiiiPoWeR.
Meet Our Staff
Tommy Johnson
Tommy is the founder of HiiiPoWeR Basketball LLC. His responsibilities are setting the vision for the organization, basketball schedule operations, and building great relationships with sponsors in our community. Tommy is someone who believes basketball is just the opening door to get families in the organization to change lives. He currently is the most winningest Girls Basketball Head Coach at Lincoln North Star High School. He led the Lincoln North Star program to its first state tournament appearance in 2023 (first in program history), state tournament game won in 2024 (first in program history), first HAC Championship 2025 (first in program history), and 3 consecutive district championships with state tournament berths. He is most proud that HiiiPoWeR with its short period of 5 years going has over 25 girl basketball players playing varsity basketball! Tommy is married to Makaila and together they have three children (Kendrick - 12, Kyleigh - 9, Kenzo - 3).
